The game includes a board with tracks under each of the 26 letters of the alphabet, and different coloured rocks for each player, to be placed on those tracks. The first player secretely thinks of a word and deposits a rock under one of the letters contained in that word. The next player must think of a word containing that letter and at least another letter; he deposits a rock under a second letter contained in that word, and so on, each player adding a letter to the word. When one player cannot continue, he passes, until a single player remains. The remaining player must announce his word; if it is valid, he scores, if not he deducts points. Cards are also played at the beginning of each round to restrict the allowable words (for example, in a particular round it may be stipulated that words may not include the letter "O").
